Modern Food is an online ordering site for a fast-food brand — burgers, pizza, fried chicken, wraps, sides and shakes — built as a custom WordPress block theme with a full WooCommerce ordering flow. The menu page filters every dish by category (burgers, pizza, chicken, wraps, sides, desserts, drinks) and by dietary preference (gluten free, halal, vegan, vegetarian), with live search, sorting, and prep time, calories and dietary tags on each card. Every dish opens its own customisation page — add-extras with a selection limit, make-it-a-meal upgrades and special instructions — and adding to the order slides open a cart drawer instead of reloading the page, leading into a streamlined checkout and order tracking. Around that ordering core sit offers with promo codes and expiry dates, table reservations with per-restaurant selection and email confirmation, plus locations, catering, blog, contact and customer account pages, and a status bar carrying opening hours, the free-delivery threshold and the phone number. Under the hood: a full-site-editing block theme with a design-token system, server-rendered custom blocks, and a GSAP + Lenis animation layer — fully responsive and deployed on Cloudflare Workers.
